With RestartIT-HW, AmeriVault hosts your rack-mounted recovery servers alongside our mass storage vault. Your servers hold your current operating system and applications, ready to recover raw data from our vault at Gig-E speed.
In the event of a disaster, you can redirect your users to these servers to continue operations with minimal downtime. You could also have these servers shipped back to your location to perform recovery on-site.
You can perform on-demand restores from your location by accessing these servers over the Internet. They are secure in a private subnet behind a firewall. By using a Gig-E connection, you can restore large volumes of data in a fraction of the time it would take with tape.
